Location guides

Care at home or abroad

Use geography to organize practical questions. A location guide is not a claim that Athlete Recovery or every profiled program has a clinic there.

Start close to the clinical question

Consider assessment with an appropriate local professional before comparing destinations. Ask whether travel is suitable and whether a proposed program can meet the assessed need.

Compare the whole pathway

Where will treatment actually happen? Who will provide follow-up where you live? Which emergency services are available? What insurance, travel and documentation questions need checking?

Read location labels literally

Residential treatment, assessment, continuing care and client coordination are different services. The individual provider profile should explain the relevant distinction.
